We just had our Christmas dinner and gave the presents to each other. It was nice and peaceful. The bigger family "party" will be in two days, so I really enjoyed it today.

I dub this episode the slashiest episode ever. Room sharing! Arthur saying Merlin's name upon waking up!!! Shoulder pats! I WILL COME WITH YOU TO OUR CERTAIN DEATHS.

Merlin writers, I think it is time to take the 'b' out of the bromance.

Also, is Arthur blind? Because this 'close but no cigar' shit they're pulling with the whole Arthur finds out angle is driving me up the wall. I was all.....heeereee Arthur gets knocked out so that Merlin can magic in peace......and Arthur did indeed get knocked out.

This show is going to get canceled before Arthur finds out, I swear.

Okay, I totally love the new set of characters more than the old one. This is possibly because I started hating everyone from the old set in s2 because the story lines were so atrocious. I love everyone in the new set though, which wasn't true of the old one (I didn't like Sid, Chris or Jal much.)

I fucking love Effie. This is despite the fact that I've just watched the whole season and hence am aware of just how awful she can be. But I still love her rather terribly. I'm totally relieved I don't know anyone like that in RL because I'd be totally in love with them and they'd seriously fuck me up.

The actress is just ridiculously gorgeous. It fucks with my head how she can look beautiful in pigtails with eyeliner running all down her face....but she can.

PLEASE F-LIST, TELL ME SOMEONE FEELS THE SAME WAY AS I DO. I NEED TO KNOW.

Also, JJ!!!!! AND COOK. And Emily!!!! And Naomi. I LOVE EVERYONE.

I just love Effie more. *sighs* I have it bad.

You know what my new year's resolution will be? To start making my Christmas/Holiday cards in AUGUST.

I'm serious about this, I'm the worst at deadlines and since I promised to draw something in all the cards and I was in Barcelona for several days and also had to work on papers and study for my history exam I didn't have as much time as I'd have liked to work on them *sadface*  Anyway, they have all been sent, thank God, although some will get there quite late, specially one of them.For that reason (that I suck and have no organization skills whatsoever), dear silentdescant , your card is slightly different than the rest. That is, the drawing is twice as big as the others and it has a little drabble to accompany it, which will be posted when you receive the card. My apologies for being a lameass :(

So far, I know turps33 and turloughishere have received theirs, so if you are not them and asked for a card, you should get one soon-ish with all my love and a silly doodle (um, some are sillier than others). If that's okay, let me know when you get them because I want to make sure they get there (our postal service is not to be trusted). I tried to come up with a special drawing for each of you. None of them are the same and I hope the people I attempted to draw (damn you, Mikeyway!) are the ones you would have liked. For example, Terri got baby!ways and Turlough got Gerard/Bob (sort of). I also hope you'll understand my tiny writing.


Aanyway, postcards I have received! They're cute and totally awesome and you guys are the best! turloughishere (and Lancecat) sent me a Santa holding a kitten. In Swedish!  tortugax sent me two adorable penguins decorating a Christmas tree and she has beautiful handwriting. silentdescant sent me the prettiest card ever in dark blue whith a tiny Santa on his sleigh in pale silver and snow in silver and pale blue. So pretty! Let me know if you do get a white Christmas over there *fingers crossed* :) crowgirl13's card is an amazing photo in black and white (is that New York?) and she was so nice to me in that she made me blush and do embarrassing noises for quite a while, which I can also say about giddy_london 's card, a glittery (I love glitter!) red background with the bestest red-nosed reindeer in all the land.


Which is to say, I'm always late to everything and you guys rule!

The holidays mean that you need to get a lot of things done, and you're up to the challenge. You love shopping for gifts, sending cards, baking, and decorating. Aww... still two more days of work, before I can just lay down and watch my favourite holiday movies. :-)))

Hey! I have everything ready!!!! I spent this weekend buying and wrapping all the gifts. It made me so happy, that it's all done now. I also bought several treats for myself, while I was shopping. For example, I bouught some natural cosmetics... shower gel, body lotion, etc. with the scent of eucalyptus, fresh figs or rose. I couldn't choose just one thing. :-)))
I have also now my DVD with Inglorious Basterds and the whole Generation Kill series. :-) My room is so nicely decorated now... and I am going to make more of my x-mas tea, before going to bed tonight. <3

Oh dear, I am so in Christmas mood tonight. :-) It's such a relief after the past week. I am listening to x-mas songs (I just counted, that I have 8 CDs with Christmas music! I had no idea...) and made some tea with cinnamon. I don't know why exactly, but the smell of cinnamon = Christmas for me. :-) There is a lot of snow outside and it's freezing... but I don't mind now, since it's Friday night and I don't have to drive till Monday. :-))))
